About Five x Seven and Arthouse

Five x Seven is an annual fundraiser, art sale and exhibition benefiting Arthouse exhibitions and educational programs. Hundreds of recognized contemporary artists with strong  ties to Arthouse create unique works of art on identical 5” x 7” boards. Each board is only $100. With hundreds of works to choose from, this is your chance to have first pick and build or add to your art collection. All pieces are displayed anonymously – only when you purchase a work of art will you discover who created it.

The mission of Arthouse is to promote the growth and appreciation of contemporary art and artists in Texas. Through its exhibitions and programs in Austin and statewide, Arthouse helps nurture artists’ careers and deepen public understanding of contemporary art.

Artists exhibited over the past year include Matt Stokes, Guthrie Lonergan, Mike Smith, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Shiri Mordechay, Lauren Kelley, Nicolau Vergueiro, Mindy Shapero, Fritz Haeg, Florian Slotawa, and Katrina Moorhead.
